Habitat enters administration

The furniture and retail company Habitat has entered administration.

Formed in the 1960s, the company’s vision was to challenge the way we think about our living space. They created what we now call ‘Lifestyle’ offering contemporary design at affordable prices.

The company’s demise as ironic given its title and logo. Habitat destruction in the natural world is the primary┬áreason for┬áspecies extinction worldwide.
